Thank you* This absolutely stunning deep rusty red dress is made from shot taffeta, which really gives depth to the fabric, casting dark shadows in the generous swags of the skirt. The fitted strapless bodice is a really flattering shape for all sizes giving the illusion of a longer more streamlined body, because the skirt is set on the hips rather than the waist. The top line of the bodice is scattered an inch thick all round with pearly round beads, silver light catching sequins and silvery seed beads. Vertical panels make up the bodice, which is a really complimentary look as the vertical seams accentuate your figure beautifully. The beading detail is apparent on the skirt too, the skirt is gathered up at regular intervals to create full opulent gathers on which a diamond shape made from the pearl beads is sewn. The dress is very full in the skirt, with a long gathered train. The back fastening is 2 rows of beautiful rouleau loops laced together with a bias cut ribbon of the same fabric as the dress. There is a wide placket behind the lacing to hide your back, this is removable. Ruffles of net are sewn in between two layers of satin lining to fill out the skirt.
