Made to measure items Please note that made to measure items take an average of 8-12 weeks to make and send. We ask you to please bear with us while they are made to your specifications. We receive your item first from our manufacturer which we will then check for quality before we promptly send to you. If you are pressed for time before your event we would recommend that you choose from our selection in stock rather than made to measure. Multiple purchases Multiple purchases of items with differing delivery schedules will be stored until all items are available for despatch. Please note that any items deemed to be faulty when you receive them will be exchanged, but time must be allowed for your returned items to reach us before replacement items are despatched. We cannot ship to a PO Box number for reasons affecting the security of your items so please make sure that the address you supply is suitable, with a responsible person to sign for your delivery at hand. If a flat or apartment, then the flat number and building number must be clearly stated. An e-mail address is absolutely essential to us so that we can send you a confirmation email of your order and tell you our estimated delivery date. Also, if there are any queries about your order then we can keep you informed. Lost Items All goods are despatched using a track and trace system in order to reduce problems with delivery. Once an item has been despatched and has been delivered and signed for, Deerhobbes cannot be held responsible for those goods. We can supply you with a tracking number for your item so that you can get in touch with the courier. If your item has not been signed for, Royal Mail will not accept that they are lost until 14 days has elapsed from the despatch date (This is a Royal Mail ruling). After this point we can make a claim for the lost goods and despatch a replacement to you. When ordering please do so in the knowledge that there is a small chance that something unfortunate may happen. We strive to keep these circumstances to a minimum but some remain out of our control. If you are in any way concerned about getting your items safely and quickly, you can opt to have them sent via Royal Mail Special Delivery which is a guaranteed next day service. Also, it covers up to £500 insurance to protect your items. Because of the expense of special delivery service, there will be a £10 surcharge for this option. These orders must be made via telephone using your credit or debit card. Non- Deliverable Items We can’t stress enough how important it is to have someone at home to receive your item, because if it is returned to us, you will unfortunately have to pay the postage costs again before we can re-dispatch your purchase. If any item fails to be delivered because of a fault given in the address submitted on order, shipping costs will not be reimbursed, and we will not be held accountable for late delivery. Re-shipping charges will be charged to the client before the goods are re-despatched.
