Delivery Info Delivery and Charges We will always endeavour to keep postage charges to a minimum. These rates are based on current Royal Mail tariffs plus an allowance for packaging and handling. We use good quality packaging materials to keep your purchases safe and clean during transit. The ‘checkout’ will automatically calculate the postage costs based on the weight and delivery address. You can change your delivery address from account maintenance section or can add new delivery address during checkout process. In order to keep delays to a minimum please ensure that you have selected the correct world zone from the drop down menus in your shopping basket. Deerhobbes cannot be held responsible for delays due to insufficient postage paid. In this case, we will contact you, or you can contact us to rectify the situation. All items are delivered via recorded delivery (UK) or via DHL courier delivery services. This system allows for the electronic tracking of all items despatched. Some items take longer to send such a made to measure items and items currently not in stock. You will always be informed if your item will take longer than usual. Our DHL courier service covers your items for up to £200 insured. We will always use this service unless you request ‘Royal Mail Special Delivery’. Prices are fixed at £15 for all dresses and shoes even if you buy multiple dresses it is still £15 because we will combine the postage costs for you. For very large orders, please contact us first for an estimation of postage costs. If you only purchase accessories (jewellery, tiaras, veils) then postage will only cost you £4.99. International orders We are more than happy to supply to international customers using Royal Mail’s ‘International Signed-For’ service. This can become quite pricy if you are buying bulky items such as large full dresses or shoes so please bear that in mind. We would appreciate your patience while you wait for your items to be delivered internationally as it can take some time. If you are at all worried then we will be pleased to issue you with the tracking number of your item. Also, as I am sure you are already aware-some items are opened by Customs when travelling between countries for security checks. This is routine but only happens very occasionally. When it does happen it can greatly delay the progress of your parcel. Sometimes items can be liable to pay a customs charge payable when you receive the parcel. Any duties payable are the sole responsibility of the client.
